Genius Hour: Week 1

I am very excited to finally get started on my genius hour!

I have thought long and hard about what it will entail for me to master the ultimate jumbo cookie. I have decided that this first week would be dedicated to research. It can be overwhelming to decide on some recipes when there are literally thousands which can be accessed through the web. I admit, my guilty pleasure is scrolling through Pinterest. Also, I absolutely love recipe books for baked goods, so I have a stash of those which I was able to search through as well. So I admit, this first week of exploration was pretty fun for me. I typically don’t allocate time for me to set aside looking for recipes so I really enjoyed taking advantage of the time which I had set aside to focus on my genius hour.

I decided that making use of reviews and ratings would be a good idea when filtering through online recipes. It is a super easy way for me to realize which recipes don’t often turn out like the picture which has been posted with it.
